so Gary McDonald sometimes show up in a dance forum that I frequent.
He just brought some breaking news about pro standard
"Neither Timothy & Joanne or Christopher & Justyna will be dancing tonight
due to injuries which will leave 2 more spots in the final"
And
"Edita Danuite is 5 months pregnant."

it depends. you can google "slippery disk" to understand the problem.

My guess: most likely, chronically accumulated injury, feet, disk, all fit
the bil pretty well...

yeah, that's why it seemed very serious to me...
well, spine problem isn't any less serious either. I like timothy & joanne
very much, hope they will be fine...

standard, but is maily due to the floor. Much better now since I was too
busy to dance in the past 6 months. but once I start again hopefully I can
find a better floor and see what happens

I can see why there could be a disk problem, when a guy has to support an
extra 100 lbs while doing all the CBM and contra check...

although Joann must be lighter than 80 lbs since she is really small,
proportionally it is still a lot of extra burden on her equally small
partner

hehe, no I didn't, I was just stating a fact.. and my ex-partners were not
heavy, I am guessing around 115-120 lbs

i don't think tim is supporting all of joanne's weight, at least not in 98%
of the time. still, overuse and accidents will cause injury. anyway, what a
bummer for them. i do wonder how much longer they'll continue to compete,
there's no shot at another title le

disks are basically the soft tissues in between your spine. They are
supposed to stay there and to prevent the bones from "hitting one another"
when you have spinal movement. Unfortunately, with a little bit of born
posture and ballroom dancing, a serious disk problem can occured.
If his legs are numb, then the problem is pretty serious. The disk must have
either fall out completely or partially and is pushing the nerves. There
are just way too many nerves in the spinal cord area......

It's actually more common for women because of the sturcture of female body
(bones) and also the ballroom dance posture for women when improperly done (
all that "openess" of the upper body if created from the low back).
