1. katusha and arunas's debut
2. yulia and max's three showdances: the bird, the beat, and matrix;
announcement of max's retirement
3. eugene and maria's debut exhibition
4. tony dovolani couple retirement, and showdance
5. showdance from a latin couple, i called it 'the transformer' (yes, it is
what you think); they won the showdance category.
6. showdance from a rhythm couple, i called it 'two cute monkeys'.
unfortunately i deleted the clip from my camera.

Very good summary. Although you lost the video clip, you can see the comp
again at PBS next Feb for five nights.
The monkeys should be smooth showdance and Shrek should be rhythm.

昨天下午终于可以说话了, i hate being sick, but when i could not speak, i
actually dance better - guess my expression's gotta come out from somewhere

For standard fans, here is a short clip of the new partnership. I have
noticed a couple on their right side - two couples appeared to move in a
synchronized fashion accidentally for a few seconds...

what you think); they won the showdance category.
The couple turned out to be Ilya Ifraimov & Nadia Goulina. I cannot really
call these latin showdances (including yulia's matrix). Any dancers can do
these without prominent latin elements, right? But anyway, this one is very
cool, too.
