Hi, Jacky:
"Sort order" means how character data is compared and in
what sequence it is returned from a query. Both of 197 and
199 means "Dictionary order, case-insensitive", but the
former is only for "traditional Chinese" and the later is
for "simplified". Now it is clear that your target
database's default character set is "traditional Chinese".
It's the POINT! You can use "sp_configure " to learn the
configure of the two SQL Servers.
