That is correct. After OAS 4.0.8.2 release (last month), it is no
longer under active development. That means there will not have
any major release of OAS.
iAS is a new product at Oracle which is under development mostly
by OAS engineers. It uses Apache as web listener, and combines
several useful/popular open modules, such as mod_jserv, mod_perl,
and mod_ssl with Oracle's mod_bc4j, mod_8i, OJSP, oas2ias, xdk,
etc together.
