Hi, is there a way that i can install only oracle software without installing
a database during installation process? I have three choices during
installation
1. Typical database installatio
2. Minimal
3. Custom.
IT seems i must install a database before i can create another database. Am i
right? BTW, i am using RH7.3

Sure you can install Oracle without creating a database.
Use Custom.
