Did anybody install oracle9.2.x on Linux9? Would you please share your
experience? Thanks.
I got an error at very beginning when I install it:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:
/tmp/OraInstall2003-05-04_11-01-32PM/libactionUnix22.so:
/tmp/OraInstall2003-05-04_11-01-32PM/libactionUnix22.so: symbol errno, version
GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I have problems installing oracle9i on Redhat9
cannot run dbcu
anyone had a successful installation on redhat9?

hi, search google using 9i redhat as keywords. It should give you
some links on how to install 9.2 on redhat9

same problem. So I have to swtich my redhat back to rh8.

It may be caused by the fact by that RedHat 9 uses POSIX thread model (a
specific version of glib) by default. Read RedHat 9 Release Notes, it may
contain information on how to install Oracle 9x. There is an evironment
variable needs to be set to install Oracle. Let me know if you cannot find
RedHat 9 Release Notes.
