问个初级问题

问个初级问题# Database - 数据库

家里2台机器(XP,2003)都连在了路由器上，大部分的端口给了XP,
只有80和8080给了2003，装完Oracle 9i后，数据库可以启动，
Apache也可以启动，但Oracle Management Server无法启动，
OracleOraHome92ManagementServer 服务没法启动。
希望大虾指点一下，到底是怎么回事。谢谢了。

it must be using some other ports... though i dont know what ports.

老大原来是专家丫，失敬，失敬，
不过我打开1521端口还是不行，难道还有其他的？

I do not think it has something to do with port forwarding on ur router.
the managment server is on ur local computer, right?
any error msg u got? or how u find that u can not start managment server?

It said:"The OracleOraHome92ManagementServer service on Local Computer
started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they
have no work to do,(听上去有点高笑)，for example, the Performance Logs
and Alerts service. :(
用sysman/oem_temp连接我的本机whaw.attbi.com，说unable resole hostname
"whaw.attbi.com" :(
换成ip: 说The exception (oracle.sysman.emSDK.client.omsClient.ClientException)
occurred. :(
想恢复一数据库文件，是不是非得用OMS?

I am newbie in oracle too. I do not know how to resolve ur first problem,
since oracle 9i works fine after I installed it. :)
for the 2nd problem:

Jafar,
First, you need to install the Oracle Software only, no
creation of new database. When you setup your init.ora
file, be sure that the parameter CONTROL_FILES
