我在access 的open对话框里设置了ftp location
而且ftp权限也是最高的，可是acccess总说
unable to open or don't have read access。
请教这是怎么回事？急等回复！谢谢！

you can't open a file from ftp like this.
you'll need to setup a VPN.

i see. thanks!
so the only way is to download first, modify and upload.
then the problem is what if the database was changed by others
after download? I will lost that change.
I know writing some asp webpages to let the server modify the database
can avoid this problem, but that is just too much work :(

a cheapo version control method is, download and Delete the file from the serv
er, then nobody else can modify it when you are working on the file :] haa

so the only way is to download first, modify and upload.
then the problem is what if the database was changed by others
after download? I will lost that change.
I know writing some asp webpages to let the server modify the database
can avoid this problem, but that is just too much work :(
