1. Check Job alert to see any issues in scheduled jobs.
2. Check production data to see any replication done yesterday works well,
if applicable.
3. Check Request/ErrorReport/Issues come from other teams to identify
whether these issues need DBA's work to solve them, if there are requests.
4. Monitor/Research performance on a specific topic recently conducted to
see whether the performance has been improved, if applicable.(e.g. Index,

It all depends on the organization structure and manager's priority.
Do not worry about that. As long as it work, it is good.

How do you do that if you have 50 servers to manage?
Are there any other way to get alert proactively?
Can you check disk space proactively? Say I want get notified before the
space
is used up.
