I have a oracle developer who carelessly missed a join condition of two
tables in a very complicated query and that caused a couple of billion rows
insertion to a table. Does anybody know if Oracle has a feature to warn/
alert user if a query's resultSets is cartesian products?

I don't think so. Or anyone could be an oracle developer.
Can't you do a rollback? Or do you just let every do this on a production
server?
