我老公cs phd毕业，非牛校，他就是不想去学校，现在在一家公司工作。
看美国这10来年就一个大的经济危机，哀声遍地。我一直对前年和去年mit上到处都是
被裁或同事被裁帖感到后怕，生怕不知什么时候自己的家庭就要经历这样的遭遇。
对中国人来说，在公司里，拼死拼活的一般也就熬个中层，而在危机中，很多公司很倾
向于先裁这些工资高，技术老化，又并非无可替代的中层，特别是IT业，技术更新这么
快。
最惨的是40来岁被裁的，再找一份理想的工作也不容易吧。
我总是觉得很担心，不知道最后会遇到什么。

如果在数据仓库里需要建个新的 partition表，数据从别的表导过来，大概有10B 的
行。
1, 是先load data到空白的没有partition的表，然后 partition，然后index。
2, 还是先建一个有partition的表，然后load data，然后index。
partition是在日期列上。
哪个方法快？谢谢。

MOS, 证书，主要就是office 2007 application (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint
, and access). 就是让resume更加outstanding一点，毕竟这个证书是 microsoft
corperation颁发的，鲍尔默签发的。国际通用的。每一个考试costs $85, 但是来SUNY
的computer labs考，NO COST!+ free training!
MTA, 证书拿到手，基本就可以开始找system administrator的工作，忽悠employer了
。足够了！包括：
1。window server administration
2. security fundamental
3. network fundamental
4. database administration

5,6,7.-- not offered in Feb.'s training event, but they will be available in
the regular MTA training sessions afterwards.
MTA,你最好有点计算机hardware, operating system, database 甚至window server的
knowledge.

沒有冒犯的意思。 只是在 Oracle 裡面， 是不能把表轉成分區表的。 因此感嘆一下
SQL 的強大和靈活性。 謹此而已

MOS, 微软的办公室软件office的官方证书，共5个specialist level的证书(word,
excel, powerpoint, access and outlook)，和2个expert level的证书（word and
excel）-- 绝大多数工作都需要类似证书或者技能。
MTA,你必须对从事信息技术相关的工作有兴趣，准备从事相关工作，比如系统管理员，
数据库管理员，系统分析师，或者程序员。微软界定这个证书为entry level in
Information technology field准备的。学习这个系列证书，需要相当量的英语阅读。
所以，你最好先考量一下自己的兴趣，再跟我联系。

MTA,是微软提供的IT入门证书，如果你能考出2，3张证书，比如windwos server
administration, information security,and windows windows operation system,
etc.那么你就可以申请IT领域的entry level工作。
MTA的难度,如果你有一定的英语阅读技能，和一定的计算机应用技能和知识，每天
spend 2-3小时，2，3个月应该会有“入门”的感觉了，--就是可以出去吹牛了。
不再一一说明，解释。如果你想啃一门“计算机语言”，不如来啃这些证书，更加快捷
。。。
