beta2 is quite slow, hope RC runs faster

go with RC. it's much faster. and you can safely uninstall RC then install
RTM
without uninstalling FX 4.0 RC. .NET FX will be upgraded automatically

vs 2010对硬件内存有什么要求？好久不写code了。

没什么要求吧，内存2G以上应该可以，1G也能跑

failed to install, I downloaded the 2.25G iso file...

did you install from mounted ISO? or from burned dvd? someone mentioned
that rebooting then re-installing works for deamon mounted ISO.
i installed it from extracted files and it works.

downloaded 4 parts instead, which seems working..

It failed on me too but easily fixable. Make sure you reload the ISO file
first and then click "Retry".
