Thanks for your explain. Would you please tell us what's differnece between
"enterprise portal"
and "entry point portal"?
more modules and ...?
hehe, I was talking about this. This feature is so easy to implement. You can
find many implementations availaible.(but in java, as you know, java has the
same problem. they will
add it to 1.5. One of the implementation can used for C#). I was doing PR
research before
and found some conference papers from Europe. This is not the feature I want

Thank you.
First of all, I want to make it clear that I am not intersted in building some
specific portals. I am interested in building some tools to build portals. I
am not satisfied with VS.Net. :)
St said that he didn't understand why ppl wanted to buy his company's
products. So I am trying to figure out what's the problem in this application
area.
Let's say his words is true. Why company hire ppl to do some "stupid work"?
Could we save the unnecessary work by designing some languge extension

An entry portal like IBUYSPY or RainBow provide a concept some basic modules.
You can use it to create a fancy community sites with all kinds of fancy
features, but if you want to use it on ECommerce, or any bigger solutions
which involves a lot business rules, it falls short on Architecture issue.
1. Navigation. It's very weak in IBUYSPY. Usually you can only do 2 step
navigation, anything deeper than that, you either do it with a lot coding, or
invent a different navigation framework. Though t
