after upgrade with the dotnet distribution, our w2k servers with our own
old dll components started to be very unreliable... having problem..
they found something online saying that's caused by the way dotnet handles
dll... dont knwo detail yet.

upgrade is always hell. we tested our stuff on test environments for a few
weeks and no problem showed up. but still we spent more than a week on
prod just to straighten out some trivial issues.

buy winxp ?

guess he was talking about upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1 of .NET

nop, just the other way around, since the old code doesnot work well
on xp.. hiahia.
