dont remember exactly, it might come from MSDN or resource CD,
name is like M$ stress test tool... .net includes one as well...
it can test any website, also there are many scripting way to test stuff as well.

URL test is easy.
There's no way to test ASP.NET pages with form in it.
You can try ASPUNIT though. Too much hassle. You can found it in
sourceforge.net
I remember there's a different approach. There's a system which can record
your input and replay it. I can not remember the name the software.

just tried ACT for the first time. looks ok, but got some problems.
one is the test will pause every 1~1.5 minute, don't know why.
the other is the test script is VB script, so ugly.
still don't knwo how to control the volumn of the work load.

do u mean ACT(application center test)? someone just mention it. i tried. it
does record what you do with a browser and then repeat it automatically. the
problem is i need to modify the vb script to have different inputs in the
test. otherwise it just repeats exactly what it recorded.
i'm new, need to study it.
