I got laid off a month ago and after I got laid off, I transferred my H1-B
to F2, a couple of days ago, I got the notice of receipt from USCIS
regarding the F2 application. The online status doesn't show anything yet.
Now I found another job, and the new company is in the process of
transferring H1-B to their company. Got a few questions:
1) My previous H1-B was extended after six years because I-140 had been
approved. PD is 2010. Previous employer didn't withdraw I-140. Is it
possbile to transfer my H1-B?
2) Can I transfer H1-B after the application for F2?
3) If the answer to 2) is yes, what do I do to F2 application?
4) Do I have to go back to China to get the new H1-B because of the gap ( a
little over 30 days)
4) What if H1-B transfer is denied? Can I apply for F2 again?
