If my employer filed PERM (not for me) before for the position that my
company will sponsor green card for me, can I ask my employer to use that
PERM for me? Then I will have an earlier PD date.
I am not sure about this, but I want to check with HR. Since my employer
sponsors many GC every year, I guess that it might be possible that some
previous filed PERMs may not be used to file I-140.

This was possible, but thanks ICC for abusing this, the
loophole has been closed.
