我和老婆都交了AOS 485,都有EAD, 最近公司帮我们交了H1/H4延期申请，
但是我的H1 receipt 可能在过期之前拿不到，这样我就只能用EAD工作。
我想问，在我EAD工作后，如果H1/H4延期批下来了，我还能返回H1/H4 状态吗？
只是想多keep些身份状态，保险些

Don't use EAD card if you want to keep your H1 status. If you use it, there
is no way to go back. As long as you submit your H-1 extension it is fine to
work before the receipt is issued. My wife had the safe issue before and
there was no problem at all.

I personally think it's fine to use EAD. I switched back and forth b/t EAD
and H1. You may ask a lawyer if you really worry about it.

It is up to USCIS.
