The System Center Interop team is looking for a strong, motivated and results-oriented Software Development Engineer with a desire to build enterprise products and services. This is a challenging role in the development of our products which will be leveraged by several teams inside of System Center as well as customers. The role will involve enterprise scale designs, development, and collaboration across many partner teams in the ever evolving Data Center industry. The team uses Agile development principles, works with industry standards and provides solutions to complex data center problems. The candidate should be a self-starter, have excellent communication, design, and coding skills along with passion for user interface (UI) and/or server platform development.
Required Skills:
• 3+ years of C/C++/C# coding
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong design and analysis skills
• BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or equivalent field experience
Experience with, or exposure to, any of the following are also a plus:
• Releasing commercial software
• Windows Workflow
• UI development
• Enterprise Management Systems (HP, IBM, BMC, CA, etc.)
• Virtualization technologies
• Hardware management
• Agile and SCRUM development principles
• Enterprise management concepts
• Automation solutions
• Out of band (OOB) Hardware management
• System Center alternatives (HP, IBM, BMC, CA)
• Non-Windows OSs (Solaris, HPUX, AIX, Linux)
• Cloud platforms
