换了工作，新的H1b transfer只收到了receipt，但是目前还没收到Approval notice,
请问：是不是必须等到approval notice下来了，才能递交I-140的申请？

理论上讲，AP是应该只用于紧急情况的。大家申请AP时的理由只是简单说“visit my
parents”, 还是真弄个不得不回去的情况呢？难道非得逼我这个不爱说谎的人制造个
理由出来吗？？？那就太不人道了！请用过AP的同学指点！！！

不必等。只要有H1-B申请的receipt就可以递交I-140。

如果是跟I-485一起申请的，不用理由

那太好了~！
最近半年,H1b的transfer进度非常慢，不知道为何。我们单位的律师，也是很奇怪现在
的情况。

刚才想到一个问题，在填I-140表的时候，申请人的签证状态，我应该填H1b，还是h1b
transfer ？

如果是因为I-485申请AP的，附上I-485的收据就应该可以了。
看I-131的instructions，Step 2. C. 1. c.
“If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of a USCIS
receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application”

RE: Renewal for Combo Card of Employment Authorization and Advance Parole
Dear Immigration Officer:
Nice to see you. Enclosed please find my following renewal applications
for the Combo Card of Employment Authorization Card combined with Advance
Parole, based on my pending I-485 application(case#:???,Receive Date: ??? )
and the Approval for I-140 immigration petition under the ？. Priority Date:
???. My current EAD/AP combo card will expire by ?????.
This package includes applications for I-765 and I-131 concurrently, with
the following supporting documents in each file.
