There have been two big developments. One is that House Speaker John Boehner
won't rule out passing a bill that lacks majority support from the
Republican caucus — likely the only way a bill with a path to citizenship
can pass the House.
The other is that Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) announced her support for the
comprehensive Senate bill. Crucially, the Huffington Post reports that Sen.
Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a member of the pro-reform Gang of Eight, was actually
urging Ayotte to delay announcing her support.

In an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulous that aired Tuesday morning
, House Speaker John Boehner hinted that he would clear a significant hurdle
to immigration reform passing through the House of Representatives.
During the interview, Stephanopoulous asked Boehner if he would let the bill
in the House come to a vote, even if it means he has to break the so-called
"Hastert Rule" — meaning that he would let it come to the floor even if he
wasn't sure it would have support form a majority of Republicans.
"George, I — listen," Boehner said. "I've allowed the House to work with —
well, more than any speaker in modern history, to the point where there are
some bills that have passed — with a majority of Democrats in favor, and a
minority of Republicans."
