CE小硕刚毕业. 100K base 7000RSU 8K+2K的relocation+sign-on.
我也没negotiate, 说给一周考虑下.
另外two sigma的背景调查和刚刚交上去, reference也都联系过了, offer估计也快了,
他们似乎是先调查再给offer.. 其实Two Sigma早面了一个工作日,结果Zynga的反而先
来了.
Zynga的职位没细说, 就是software developer
Two Sigma似乎是具体到了QA的位置, 做test automation
公司感觉的话,two sigma面了两次onsite, 在不同的楼, 但是感觉都是很低调的, 中规
中矩的办公室. Zynga的那栋楼给我感觉还是很震撼的. 而且各种餐饮和娱乐设施健身
什么的都很齐全, 感觉氛围很轻松.
城市的话, 我对三藩倾向性完全压过纽约.
现在就是感觉好多人说Two Sigma好, 也不知道是否适用于我这个情况. 他们会比Zynga
给的多吗? 多多少钱值得去呢?
真心求建议, 谢谢.

如果你打算做软件，来湾区；如果你打算做金融，去纽约。现在的offer没什么大出入，就不应该是key factor。

感谢各位,我个人也倾向于Zynga.
不过还是有点想看看Two Sigma的offer. 或者说我直接发邮件婉拒了? 感觉公司花了
好多钱, 2次onsite, 背景调查可能也要花钱吧. 有点不好意思. 但是是不是越早说不
去,越好一些呢

Zynga's standard package for fresh master should be 105k base, so at least
negotiate to that level. It shouldn't be difficult. 2Sigma will have a bit
higher base and likely higher bonus in most years, but no RSU and there is
no way they'll go public and disclose their financials.
Living cost wise, Manhattan is certainly more expensive than the center of
SF, but the cost drops quicker when you go out of the city. The Soho area
where 2sigma resides is super expensive. The rent of Brooklyn is more or
less the same as much of the west of the bay. NYC's subway is a lot better
than SF's.
As far as scenery and weather goes, there is no comparison. SF wins hands
down. That's probably why you like SF better.
2Sigma faces the risk of its business model being scrutinized and
constrained. As more and more companies like 2Sigma arise, which apparently
is happening given how many recruiters are actively looking for talent in
that area, I am not sure how the big banks and the government would act.
That's also why they should always stay low-key and minimize the press. On
the other hand, Zynga faces the risk of losing users.
I don't think you can go wrong with either. As long as you do well, the
experience from either company would be very valuable. The eventual fate of
the company doesn't matter that much. You can push 2sigma with Zynga's offer
. They are a relatively small company and can act fast. Once you get the
package, you can make a more informed decision based on your priorities.

7000rsu给fresh ms不算少。不过znga近期股价实在低迷。
