On timing of filing for adjustment of status: the ability of individuals
with an approved employment-based immigrant petition who are caught in the
quota backlogs to file for adjustment of status will be advanced to permit
them to obtain the benefits of a pending adjustment. This is expected to
impact about 410,000 people.

这样的话对我们是好事，但烙印更爽了。尼玛乌压压的烙印全交485了，在远古时期的
PD不就插到我们前面了SO还不都被他们日了？这样排期如何计算？

Doesn't matter. EAD means you're no longer dependent on your current
employer.

就相当于current吗？

也就是说不是拿卡，但也和卡差不多？如果真是这样，那大统领还是在法律许可的框架

就是没有卡，要等好久才能Citizen，各种福利没有。要是换工作类型的话，有可能丢
掉卡。被限制在本领域苦干。

这个政策就是对于通过了140了，但是被layoff的情况很有保障。而且140过了配偶可以
工作。也挺好的。

各国的cap还是不变的，但是so估计没那么好吃了
但是，估计不会做那么难看，所以一开始吃以前没用完的部分，中国还是能分到点
估计按比例，也不能算是我们亏，毕竟人少

提前交485貌似违反了法律，不太可能吧。参见下面的(a)(3)
8 U.S. Code § 1255 - Adjustment of status of nonimmigrant to that of person
admitted for permanent residence
(a) Status as person admitted for permanent residence on application and
eligibility for immigrant visa
The status of an alien who was inspected and admitted or paroled into the
United States or the status of any other alien having an approved petition
for classification as a VAWA self-petitioner may be adjusted by the Attorney
General, in his discretion and under such regulations as he may prescribe,
to that of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence if
(1) the alien makes an application for such adjustment,
(2) the alien is eligible to receive an immigrant visa and is admissible to
the United States for permanent residence, and
(3) an immigrant visa is immediately available to him at the time his
application is filed.
