Job responsibilities:
Design call quality and voice quality monitoring system for UC solution.
Design web based UI for UC monitoring system.
Design platform/framework to collect data from phones, voice switches and
servers and present them to applications in usable format.
Integrate system with standard data processing and data correlation tools
for building a network operation center (NOC).
Develop agents in voice switches and phones to collect data realtime for
monitoring purposes.
Develop stand alone probes to collect data real-time for monitoring purposes.
Job qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years experience developing VoIP
management software.
Must have demonstrated ability to lead a team of talented software engineers
with the balance of skills (system management, networking, call control,
platform) to develop advanced call quality monitoring and diagnostics
software for a communications system.
Must have demonstrated ability to add new features to a large complex
production code base.
Must have very strong experience in C/C++, Java, Ruby, HTML development
using standard coding practices.
Experience with SQL and interfacing with CDR databases.
Expertise in building network monitoring/ management applications using
tools like SNMP.
Distributed programming expertise and good understanding of Linux/Windows
services.
Education:
BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field is required.
Masters Degrees are preferred.
