昨天律师收到移民局的信，要求补材料：
1，体检（我们去年3月份做的体检，4/6才到期）；
2，出生和结婚的certified件（我们之前交的是公证件）。关于certified文件：The
English translations of your birth certificate and marriage certificate you
submitted were not certified by the translator. The translator must certify
that he or she is competent to perform the translation with a copy of the
translated (foreign-language) original. Please provide a certified English
translation of your birth certificate and marriage certificate.
请教：我们提交的是公证件（2页）的复印件，translator是公证员，我们要回去找回
公证员certify吗？还是随便找一个朋友certify就好了？...
这第二份要求的材料应该怎么准备？多谢各位！

移民局关于certified文件：The English translations of your birth certificate
and marriage certificate you submitted were not certified by the translator.
The translator must certify that he or she is competent to perform the
translation with a copy of the translated (foreign-language) original.
Please provide a certified English translation of your birth certificate and
marriage certificate.
我想问的是：我们提交的是公证件（2页）的复印件，translator是公证员，我们要回
去找回公证员certify吗？还是随便找一个朋友certify就好了？

现在我们公证不止两页呀，先公证结婚或者出生，中英文，然后再公证英文的翻译是对
的，中英文，共四页好像。

那意思是不是我们之前交的年代久远不是最新版本，所以移民局不认可？重新让国内办
一份最新的就满足要求了？

这个公证处当时就应该提交Certified文件。你可以再跟国内公证处联系，要求补办。
