you can get a blood titer test for Varicella. If you had the vaccine as a
child, you will have positive titer test result and thus no need for
additional shot. Sometimes your family doctor could even order it for you.

我的医生跟我解释了，不是一回事。我自己回来后也做了一下小研究，发现确实不是一
回事。

补充一点，确实可以通过血液检查来判断你是否有抗体。

我就是血检的结果证明有MMR和varicella抗体。本来准备去医院打疫苗，结果医生从电
脑里掉出6年前血检的结果，都有记录的。

体检那天被医生忽悠了，说要打shingles疫苗，光小时候得过水痘是不够的。 我一听
就急了，就要求验血查抗体。 好在今天结果出来有抗体医生给过了。

我还是没明白。 varicella 英文是chicken pox. 水痘的英文不也是chicken pox
