我在办绿卡EB2.我的工作是从事某种特别技术的开发, 我在国内有五年以上的工作经验
, 公司希望为我申请 15-1111 Computer and Information Research Scientist. 但是
作了三次Prevailing Wage, 得到的结果不是 15-1133 Software Developers, systems
software, 就是 15-1132 Software Developers, architecture.
律师对这个结果不满意,还想再办一次Prevailing Wage. 我是不太明白.
所以我的问题就是, 如果我的情况按照developers而不是scientist来办理,会有什么问
题? 我有PhD.

Your prevailing wage statement came back as Software Developers,
Applications and Software Developers, Systems Software. What we have been
trying for is Computer and Information Research Scientists. We have to list
your position to the public and show immigration that we have listed your
position. We have to show that we have not been able to find anyone who is
able to work in the US to fill your position, that is why we need you to
stay in the US permanently to fill this position. Here in the bay area,
there are many software developers and even though your job is very specific
and requires a PhD, we will receive many applicants. We may be asked to
provide justification as to why we didn’t hire them. We are trying for
Computer and Information Research Scientists title because this is more
specific as to what you actually do and it is also a specialization that is
harder to find people to do this job. We want to submit your application
with the highest chances of acceptance. This is why we would like to try
again for the “Scientist” title one last time.
