Dear Sir or Madam:
During the month of xxx, I twice tried to file the adjustment of status
applications of ABC.
Both applications were improperly rejected.
It appears that the mail room does not know that for Employment-Based 1st
through 4th preference filings in October, we were directed to use the Dates
for Filing of Employment Based Applications, and they rejected applications
if the priority date was not current on the Final Action Dates chart on the
State Department's visa bulletin.
I've just submitted the application a third time. It would have been
received on xxx. Fed Ex aaa. For November, we have also been directed to
use the Dates for Filing of Employment Based Applications.
May I please ask for your assistance to ensure that these applications are
not improperly rejected a third time.
Attached please find the Fed Ex tracking information, the USCIS notice
regarding using Dates for Filing, and other documents from the file that may
be helpful in locating these application.

I have reviewed our records for your clients I-485 filing, assigned receipt
numbers LINxxx, and find that it was rejected in error on xxx, by the
Lockbox, for which we apologize.
Please refile the I-485 package at your convenience with the same supporting
documents and payment, and please email me at [email protected]/* */,
attn.: xyz, upon resubmission to provide a tracking number, if you have one
, so we can watch for the package and can assign to the resubmitted I-485
filing the original xxx[first RD], receipt date that would have been
assigned if it had been processed correctly. Again, please accept our
apologies for processing the initial submission incorrectly.
