我开始找的rep，还不错，2、3周就回复。senator 一个月没回，后来打了两次电话才
有消息，也还是爱理不理。
对于这两类uscis office会区别对待吗？senate的问询会更重视吗？我在rep那拿到的
就是模版回复extended review. 在想如果都一样就不再折腾senatoe office了，回复
也慢。

Typically you should check one and follow up at least once, there is no news
, check with the other.
In your case, if you believe the senator is indeed not helpful, then go with
the rep., who does not seem to have much swing/influence on USCIS anyway...
But it is what you can do, so keep at it.
You would think that USCIS will take senators more seriously.
Let me clarify, the senators and rep's that you talked about, they are the "
US." senators and rep's for your state, right? Not the "state" senators or
rep's, right? There is a huge difference between these two. Always go with
the US senators or rep's. That is my 2 cents there.

office does not care... But did you check with the other US. senator for
your state? You know there are two US. senators for each state, one from the
D party and the other from the R party, just in case you do not know, not
saying that you do not know...

一般来说，是。参议员总的数量少，任期长，影响力大。但具体到个人就不好说了。如
果众议员刚好在一个跟移民有关的committee里面或者本身资历深，权力大，那她可能
比一个新当选的参议员好使的多。
但是很明显，USCIS现在已经不拿这些东西当回事儿了，因为用的人太多了，而且不是
什么要紧事儿就用，被用滥了。不过好像法律规定这些政府部门必须对议员们正式信函
问询进行答复，所以应付性的答复越来越多，我估计真正审批的人都不处理这些东西了
，应该是类似客服的人在处理，他们只能看到系统里面的东西，什么都干不了。
