EE is a multi-discipline area. Chemistry, especially organic
chemistry, now play more and more important role in EE,
especially in novel electronic and optical devices.
To name a few examples:
1. molecular electronics. Current scaling rule for Si based
electronics will reach its physical limitation in the next
15 to 20 years. Now lots of hot research involves using
single organic molecule as electronic devices. Single
molecule diode is not a news today. These devices can be
super tiny which can
