release builds skip all asserts, are more heavily optimized, and strip debug
symbols.

I think opnet should have implemented it. I suppose ns2 should also have
this.

And variables are not initialized in release build.

You can freely download 802.11 standards from IEEE website.

是不是说平常干活都要用debug build, 只有最后product的阶段用release
build?
