first of all, it's not good to print such documents out. well, you can use pdf2eps to convert it to eps file, during which process th e prehibitoion of printing will be lost. If you prefer pdf format, you can u se eps2pdf to convert it back. the quality of the pdf file might decrease.
You need to read some reference book. For Hamming encoding, it can be done by a set of XOR gates in following logic: Denote the hamming binaries h3, h2, h1 respectively, and the data bits b4 b3 b2 b1 respectively, we have h1 = b1 xor b2 xor b4 h2 = b1 xor b3 xor b4 h3 = b2 xor b3 xor b4 For CRC-16, it depends on your divisor polynomial.
