EV Battery System Test Engineer, Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead Engineering team in the evaluation of lithium-ion battery packs
for EV application
• Define scope of technical center testing capabilities and enhance by
establishing relations with local contract vendors and University partners
•Develop and implement test plans and detail procedures for evaluating
battery systems and validating those systems for commercial mass production
• Collaborate with Design team, Sales and Product Marketing to
understand customer and industry requirements for EV battery packs
• Support development of battery product specifications validated by
test reports
• Develop test specifications, standard operating procedures and
documentation to support mass production of battery packs
• Participate as a key member of a cross-functional product test and
development team, offering proposals for product improvements based on
testing results
• Develop new design validation test methods
• Analyze test data and present written test reports to entire
organization
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Science or Engineering
• 5-10+ years hands-on experience with Test Engineering
• >5 years experience testing battery products, high voltage equipment
, or automotive systems

• Knowledge of Automated battery cyclers (Maccor, Bitrode, Arbin,

batteries
• Setup and conduct safety testing; coordinate with outside

Director,Electrical Engineering (EV, large format)
Responsibilities:
• Driving the EV electrical engineering process from concept and
design through to release to manufacturing;
• current and potential customers in order to translate needs and
define product requirements as they relate to EV, large format,team
deliverables;
•Directing the engineering related activities of multiple departments
in meeting timelines and deliverables of the EV, large format division;
Resource profiling and resource allocation are essential to this objective;
•Overall responsibility for determining the most effective means to
provide large format product to customers; This may involve direct build
and manufacturing of modules and packs or partnering with outside providers;
• Ensures overall technical competence of the large format division
and product design compliance, in alignment with predefined specifications;
• Responsible for the EV, large format engineering hiring, turnover
and personnel development in order to reach defined milestones;
• Leading daily engineering and tactical plans of this group in
meeting customer demand;
•Directly and/or through others performs complex analytical work
ensuring office engineering and field engineering support for multiple large
format product lines;
• Secures and maintains all relevant accreditations and qualifications
to ship product and meet revenue goals;
Qualifications:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of ten (
10) years of hands on experience leading multiple engineering functions-
within the battery, Electric Vehicle, and/or energy storage fields is
required;
• Power Electronics and/or renewable battery background and experience
is required;
• Systems engineering and thermal management expertise is required;
• Key experience providing hands on leadership to high performing,
cross functional engineering teams;
•Keen interest, possessing the necessary drive and initiative to stay
abreast of new power related, EV and alternative energy technological
innovations;
•Expert technical knowledge ideally from the automotive electric
vehicle industry, alternatively from the utility, power grid, energy
storage or other relevant industries;
• Extensive experience in a management function demonstrating strong
initiative, leadership and negotiation skills;
• Start-up company background and mentality, with extensive experience
in high growth and/or rapid ramp environments;
• Analytical and results orientated approach with a hands on mentality
to support the daily operation and to create business globally;
• Superior experience building strong and trusted partnerships;
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities;
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Experience with agency approvals (UL, CE, etc.);
• Excellent communication and presentation skills required;
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed;

Director Mechanical Engineering
Requirements:
•Direct engineering staff in mechanical design, in a solids based
design, and tool application. Analyze components for thermal, stress, and
cost considerations. Familiarity with welding, sheet-metal, stamping
processes (at structural level), and plastic molding are required.
Understandings of a systems level approach to design solutions along with
remote component sourcing are required. Industry alignment and knowledge,
especially within the automotive industry
• Experience with special equipment needed to perform the job (i.e.
Spectrum Analyzers, 8086 Microprocessors, test equipment, etc.)
• Experience with Any special software required; (i.e. Labview, Matlab
, others. Etc.)
• Leadership abilities and the ability to grow within the organization
• Ability to speak English
• Profient communication skills, presentations skills, abilities to
manage competing priorities, and able to drive clarity in uncertainty etc.)
Qualifications:
• B.S. or M.S. Mechanical Engineering, 10 plus years’ experience;
• Packaging, power distribution, heat transfer/thermal management,
structural design experience required;
• Familiarity with automotive engineering standards a plus;
• Strong experience and skills in mechanical, fluid, thermal analyses,
modeling and simulating with CFD and FEA tools;
• Experience with prototype fabrication, metal joining/welding
methods, plastic injection molding and testing required;
• Skilled user of 3D CAD required, SolidWorks preferred;
• Contract manufacturing experience, preferably with Asia;
• Ability to work well in fast-paced team-oriented culture; ability to
effectively manage multiple, competing priorities and to take initiative in

EV Battery Design Manager
Responsibilities:
• Leads the development and implementation of test plans and detail
procedures for battery systems;
• Manages design engineers to create design validation test plans and
methods to validate performance versus requirements;
• Works closely with contract test vendors during the set up and
execution of external testing;
• Oversees the battery systems validation under dynamic electrical,
and environmental conditions;
• Manages the development of battery system test specifications,
processes and documentation for mass production;
• Communicates to executive management the product test developments
achieved;
• Leads staff with the development of additional test processes and
procedures as required;
• Recommends and designs improvements with fabrication and programming
of test equipment for battery systems as needed;
• Directs the analysis of test data and write test reports;
• Recommends countermeasure to better improve existing product under

Required Skills:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and or equivalent skills from the
rechargeable battery, automotive or power conversion industry;

标题: “失联”女大学生为何挑逗公众热情?

一个手机不能离身的时代,看似充满安全,却总是会让人不安。或许,因为不少女
大学生失联后的结果悲惨,才会让公共媒体介入寻人的范畴。只可惜,太多的真相总是
不可预料。上午的口风还是《紧急寻人:深大女生独自赴港失联3天3夜》,下午的口谕
就成《反转:深圳女大学生赴港购物 ,因盗窃被捕》。这样始料不及的结果,着实让
公共情绪的脸皮啪啪作响。
我们暂且不论“失联”女大学生的个人品质如何?如若,偷盗的行为坐实,自会有
相应的评判。只是,对于整个寻人过程中的公共热情而言,着实有些打击。一边是热心
涌动的寻人传递,一边是盗窃被捕的不得人心,两种结果放在一起,自然会有水火不容
的冲突出现,想来必是“车祸现场”。
从生活的意义而言,公共媒体介入个人安危,一人涉险,万人援手,能想到,这是
一种较好的良性互动。不管是大媒体的信息公布,还是小公民的朋友圈转发,站在公共
情绪的角度来看,着实是一种美好的社会愿景。
若如,女学生没有偷盗被捕,只是因为丢手机或被坏人劫持而失去联系。即便,结
果凶险,但公共情绪上的阀值却充满正能量。不过,我们也不能为了所谓“正能量”,
就希望女学生涉险,逻辑可以说通,道德上却是瑕疵。
不管如何,女学生被找到,就已经算打破人们对失联的恐惧。虽然“盗窃被捕”,
社会影响不太好,但对于一个家庭而言,就算女儿犯下天大的错误,能平安回家,大抵
也是一种万幸。只不过,这种万幸里,包含着太多教训。
一个小错误的“蝴蝶效应”,却成为挑逗公共情绪的那个坏孩子,着实有点不该。
女学生与男学生着实不太一样,即便强调男女平等,但在公共意识的表达里,女性还是
会被认知为弱势群体。预判的险境里诸如:“性侵,杀害,劫持”,基本上成为人们担
心的主要因素。
这里边有直接的预估,也有对过往事件恶果的投射,总之社会的公共情绪里,对女
生的处境还是担心为主,不然也不会轻易惊动公共媒体和个人朋友圈。只是公共的情绪
,作为公共资源而言,总希望结果能配的上情怀。否则公共情绪也会失去热情,到最后
伤害还是芸芸众生里微小个体应有的权益。
对于多数人而言,面对打脸和反转,总免不了会有一点失望。即便情绪最后消散了
,人们的内心却留下一处芥蒂。这就像我们献爱心捐款一样,满心期待救助困难者,却
不料被中间环节消耗大半,自然爱心的初衷会受损,良心互动被打破,下一次“全民寻
人”就不太好重拾了。
“偷盗行为”虽然不是大事,可是寻人的期待和公共情绪的建立却很难。我们也能
想到,女大学生在事件的处理结果里并不不会好受,一边承受人们对其偷盗的指责,同
时也要承受打破公共互动的责任。毕竟,对于社会而言,后者的代价更为沉重。
一个人的小错误,酿成对社会信任的撕裂,着实有点代价深重。我们一边看到社会
对个人的关怀,却也看到个人不珍惜的痕迹,这种矛盾的交织,很大程度上反映了时代
的特征:“我们所拥戴的,就是我们所匮乏的”。

power space for 2,000 to 3,000 employees and shaved $100,000 off eBay's
power bill, says Amy Skoczlas Cole, director of eBay's Green Team. EBay uses
natural gas in the boxes but will switch to methane gas from an Oklahoma
landfill this spring.

重点是,按usanew这个报道.ebay省了10万刀电费.
这是和以前不一样的新情况.
其他方向的,谁敢这么说?
就是hybrid car,去年全美100辆车里面3辆hybird,
也没人说hybrid car帮用户省钱了.---大家都知道,油价不到6块钱,
是亏的.

现在做燃料电池的不都亏的不要不要的

well, it is a bet, a bet that carbor emission will be taxed in the near
future. If the goverment add tax to all co2 emission, they (clean energy
tech) may have chances.
