等到现在，终于等到好消息了。^_^
亚裔小伙子，据我妈说一直面带微笑，非常和蔼。

感觉牛校竞争太激烈，大家都太聪明，而且要补的课特别多，怕受打击就不转行了
一般学校会不会基础打得不扎实，混到毕业找工作竞争力不足？

Description:
Prudential Retirement is an industry leader in Stable Value, Pension Risk
Transfer, Structured Settlements, and Full Service businesses. The Senior
Actuarial Associate ~ Modeling, is a new position on the actuarial modeling
team in support of asset-liability modeling across Retirement Actuarial,
with the following primary responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with business partners throughout the Prudential
organization to support the development and maintenance of a long-term asset
/liability modeling platform for Prudential Retirements entire book of
business which can be leveraged for many uses (asset adequacy testing,
pricing, portfolio strategy and tactics analyses, stress testing, risk
aggregation, etc.).
Builds, parameterizes, and supports the creation of a production environment
for ALM and investment-related modeling, helping to ensure a controlled and
optimized modeling platform.
Partners to develop and refine ALM modeling needs in support of product
development, pricing, and product management for the Retirement lines of
business.
Partners closely with others on the Modeling and Governance Team, ALM Team,
Pricing VPs, and Actuarial teams.
Serves as key resource in validating or implementing ALM modeling changes
and coordinates with business partners to complete User Acceptance Testing
in a timely manner.
Ensures adherence to appropriate corporate governance, controls, and
documentation policies/procedures
Qualifications:
Experience with actuarial modeling software desired. Examples of actuarial
modeling software include GGY Axis, TAS, MG-ALFA, Prophet, etc.
Knowledge of industry knowledge and experience, on Retirement Products,
pricing, and asset/liability management and risk management work is
preferred.
Demonstrated ability to partner with other quantitative resources to build
controlled, production-environment quantitative models and tools.
Ability to convey a sense of urgency and to work productively with internal
and corporate business partners (ALM, product, actuarial, finance, tax,
treasurers, etc.)
Collaborative and team-oriented leadership and work style.
Quantitative actuarial/asset/investment/risk modeling experience.
Self-motivated individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, and
communication skills.
Strong computer and programming skills, including knowledge of Microsoft
Excel, Access, Word, and Visual Basic
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics,
Business, Science based, or related analytical field
Successfully passed 2 or more actuarial exams is desired
2+ years of experience in an actuarial field is desired
1+ years of experience in model development, implementation and/or
validation is desired

想系统学一门计算机语言，是学c呢，还是c++？我学的是统计，本科学过c，但纯混了
，学了就和没学一样，后来用R等matrix language写过些程序，但觉得自己对计算机语
言的掌握还只停留在皮毛上，现在想系统学一门语言，c一类的，但不知是该学c，还是
c++，感觉这两门语言还是有一定区别，先末论什么面向对象，光打印这一句，c用
printf，c++用cout。anyway。那我到底该学哪一个呢？还有就是有没有什么书，教怎
样把理论中的algorithm翻译，写成计算几程序的？多谢！

学统计的话没有必要学C吧，工作中都只需要用SAS就足够了。

printf 和 cout不算什么区别
区别在于面向对象设计，如果不用继承，多态等，基本可以把C++当作C来用吧
思维就完全不一样了
可以学学Java
