请问学math education有math 的background很重要吗？我是学英语的，没math背景，
能学不？发信给小秘，小秘的答复是a Bachelor's degree in Math or Math related
field like Engineering is strongly preferred. 麻烦高手指教一下哦～～谢谢了

I don't know which state you are in. If you want to get certified to teach
math in public schools, you'd better check the certification requireements.
For getting in the program, I do think math background is important. If you
don't have math credits from college, you may want to show them your GRE
score, GMAT score, CST004 math test if you can in New York. That may help.

那些teaching certificate的program和一般的program有什么不一样吗？
只是帮你拿certificate的？不会有什么degree？

Program with certification will lead to a degree and a certification.
The program withtout teaching certification will probably not require
student teaching or arrange student teaching for you.
