小女子今年暑假刚教育硕士毕业，top 20的一个学校，念educational psychology, 个
人注重社会research，survey方面，学了一点statistics的皮毛，苦于找工作一直不顺
利，请教xdjm相关的工作机会信息~~~

是不是可以到学校当concelor?

No. To become a school counselor, you need a state licensure for pupil
services, which is going to require another XX credit hours...
And Educational Psychology is more research-oriented, and counseling is more
social work/service oriented.
I am not really sure about the career path of educational psychologist. My
former advisor was a Niu Ren in this field from Harvard, but she told me "
don't get into this field, because you won't make much money." That is
really sad...

it's hard to give out opinion if we don't know what's getting in the way of
your job search. could it be lack of confidence? limited infor about job
resource? not fully understanding areas of application? Tell us something
you will surely get some response.

I suggest you go for a Ph.D. degree and then apply for faculty position if
your spoken English is good and you enjoy doing research...Another
suggestion is to refine your resume and do more practices before onsite
interviews. Be confident and hold your head up, don't be too modest when in
interview...Either way, good luck!

I have information for one openning (SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST), and here are
the requirements:
Master's degree in public policy, education, or similar; research background
; 5 years' experience, preferably in a consulting environment; analytic
skills using SAS or SPSS; and excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
