this is the cheapest thing i found so far, plus it's a company in china.

this one could still require pc online & skype logged in, so the
search for fool-proof voip calls is still going on. :)

俺觉得这种方式scalability有问题，每换一个destination都得进行一次forwarding设置
。
还是linksys那种方式比较实用，借助pc上跑skype，然后通过usb把一个wireless
station连起来，就可以用cordless phone打skype了，如果有skype in/out的话，home
phone都解决了。
进一步发展的话，等3g或者其他更好地wireless的latency能够满足one way 150ms的时候
，
handset上面跑IP+skype，手机服务商都没必要提供长途了，全部跑data就可以了

correct me if i'm wrong, i got the linksys info from http://blog.tmcnet.com/blog/tom-keating/skype/linksys-cit200-skype-phone-review.asp,
with the linksys you can call out with skypout, and other people can call you
from pstn if you have skypein. the difference between linksys phone and pc
skype client is that you don't have to be sitting in front of a computer to
make or answer skype calls. but the gateway is for other people to call in
