偶侄女国内二流本科,先正要选专业.我是啥也不懂的.
不知道国内化学材料和化学生物工作前景相比有什么差别.
请大家能不能指点一二?

Call for Ph.D. Student
Position: Ph.D. student (research assistant) in mechanical engineering.
University: Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tennessee, USA

Financial aid: Research assistant ship starting $1300/month (renewable
annually) plus all tuitions and fees
Starting time: As early as possible
Area of research: computer aided geometry design, kinematics, linkages/
gearing, manufacturing,
The requirement is flexible and open because of the interdisciplinary
research.
1. Master degree is required.
2. International students must submit GRE and TOEFL scores*.
3. Strong recommendation
4. Independent and self-motivated
5. Good communication and team worker
6. Background in ME, mathematics, or physics
7. Knowledge in geometry design, kinematics, or FEM (Finite Element
Method) is desirable.
* GRE and TOEFL scores are to satisfy the minimum requirement of the
university only. Contact Prof. Ting immediately if you have not taken GRE
or TOEFL test. No GRE and/or TOEFL score will be considered as too low if
the student has strong recommendation or demonstrates research ability or
motivation. Students without strong recommendation or proven research
motivation will not be considered even with high scores.
