Prof. J. Morris Chang in the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering at Iowa State University currently are looking for excellent,
highly self-motivated and hard-working Ph.D. students. Ideal candidates
should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering,
electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field, with proficient
coding skills, or solid mathematics, security and machine learning
backgrounds. Prior research experience is a big plus but is not necessary
for B.S. applicants. We are open to any exceptional candidates.
New Ph.D. Students will be funded as Research Assistant or Teaching
Assistant, and work on our newly funded research project that deals with
privacy-preserving computation over Internet. In this project, we, a
research team at Iowa State University and Princeton University, are looking
into preserve privacy in the systems with mobile devices and cloud servers
that employ machine learning techniques in their applications.
