几天没来,居然发现本版自豪地大谈中国的自来水如何比美国好.简直让人哭笑不得.
美国的自来水,一般买房子的时候叫做Public Water。相对应的还有Private Water，一
般在比较偏远的地方采用。但Public Water不是真正的全称。美国自来水的全称是
Public Drinking Water System，公共饮用水系统。这个系统有无数的公共和私人的小
系统构成，供给着美国90%人口的饮用水。前面帖子里说自来水都是私人公司运营的，
是不准确的。有许多真正“公共”自来水系统。比如我们这里大部分公共自来水，称为
Town Water。
美国的自来水，既然称为公用饮用水系统，因此是可以直接饮用的，也因此拥有很高的
标准。美国有关于自来水标准的联邦法案，称为Safe Drinking Water Act。根据这个法

刚刚看了一下十大上的文章，我觉得90%的人看完了会得出这样一个结论，
美国的水比中国的差。

中国自来水差主要是水源保护差，处理技术都没什么差别，有时候国内的技术还要高些
，比如国内还要考虑如何从洗煤厂、电镀厂、制革厂、印染厂、造字厂、化粪池直接排
放的未经处理达标的污水中处理出“自来水”的挑战。

As far as I know the TDS in the water from FL is at a high level since it
has been influenced by the seawater. However, I could not believe public
utilities will provide faked data to regional EPA for compliance. You may
not understand how the system works. If the EPA or any state regulatory
found it, who provided or signed the water quality report with the faked
data will lose his or her operators license immediately. Then they may go
to the jail later. I know some plant managers may not rep

It is very possible especially for the reliability of the plant's SCADA data
, unless this plant has a good routine and preventative maintenance plan.
In most cases, the instruments at plant fail to provide the accurate data
without daily calibration. EPA or state agency will allow you to use grab
sample results as compliance data over the online analyzer results if this
happens.
