刚到working瞎逛一下,那个lay off, fire满天飞的,只叫人后背发凉..
然后就想起那些个上班迟到早退的日子;
想起那些个上班爬来灌水的日子;
想起那些个上班用gmail chatting的日子...
妈呀,会不会哪天俺就被hr找去开小会了?
俺很担心office那两小盆花啊,俺要走了谁来照顾他们啊?周围那些个傻X老是把花养死..
anyway,严肃点问一个,土木貌似还是挺稳定的吧?

utility相对稳定一点。
civil已经开始裁员了，stormwater相关等的，日子也不是很好过。
知道好几个大公司已经裁掉不少了。比如pbs&j,总部和近似最大的office-orlando部分
都裁员了。还有的比较大的公司，直接关掉office的都有。
不过我知道的局限于fl。

Layoff depends on the project. More projects, less layoff possibilities.
However, this type of work is usually under-pay.
Get a better job, more income. Even layoff happens everywhere, you still
could get some compensations from the union. Your accumulated average
income in another field is way better than in this field. During layoff, you
still could do some part-time job, to kill the time. Right?
From the following example, you will see the difference.
School mate A and B, graduate from schoo
