最差的EB3也就一年多就批下来了，想想我们这一代还是没有赶上好时候，像他们九十
年代初来美国留学的，毕业赶上道特康姆蓬勃发展，还没毕业就有大公司上门来求着给
你办绿卡，那时候大家永远也不会预料到排期这回事。房价也便宜。怎么到现在我们这
一代什么都没赶上。

之前回老家，老公的奶奶等长辈都叫老公“徐”（音译），我也没在意，说是老公的小
名。
这孩子一岁多了，带孩子回老家，街坊问孩子名字，说完后人家说“他爸不是叫旭吗？”
听到后，我的脑子嗡~~~的一下！
回家后质问老公，为啥不说孩子的名字跟他小名重名了。结果人家说没关系，又不是大
名！
我现在想给孩子改名字，老公不同意，怎么破？真的没关系吗？

For x in (1,a)
observe f(x) we conclude
(1) If the roots number of f(x) is odd, then a is a perfect sqare.
(2) If sin(sqrt(a) pi) < 0, f(x) has at least two roots.
(3) If sin(sqrt(a) pi) > 0, f(x) may have at least four roots or no roots.
you can search the least root <= a^{1/4}

下半年就要毕业了，是水处理的方向，做的研究方向主要是在实验室做实验，要找
industry工作了简历上却没有
什么亮眼的地方，请问一下各位有些什么流行的软件模型可以学习一下，为找工作做准
备的，谢谢了！

If you are doing process, the only thing you'll need to learn is AutoCAD.
Software not very useful for steady state calculations, which is still the
dominate way of designing today. You should be able to get most of your mass
balance and hydaulics done using excel.
I think get familiar with the design requirements is more useful. For
example, the ten states standards.

network and collection systems(storm or sanitary sewer) you should get
familiar with EPANET and SWMM. And for river systems, HECRAS.
Modeling software were build so that you don't need to worry about the
calculations, so don't get caught by the theories. Focus more on how the
software model the actual world. For example, in SWMM the surface runoff is
modeled as sheet flow on a sloped rectangle.

A-ha! I think I just finally got the reason why my group is obsessed w/
hiring phd while the hardest software we use is Excel, but water resource
can get by with under-grads although they're using all sorts of fancy
models that I don't even know what the name stands for...so the simpler
the software, the more thoughts we need to put into solving the problem;
while the fancy models already built in those routines for us to follow,
we just implementing the tools, right?

if wastewater treatment, there're some models out there; if drinking water
treatment, Excel is more than enough...

今天学习公司的A2O设计软件，核心部分就84k的code，还锁起来的，看不到。
