sourkov is awesome!!
Just watched a few of their clips and here is my conclusion. Sourkov is
really talented, the 2nd male latin dancer in the world, in my opinion.
Period. However, Melia is not a natural dancer; she executes 'deadly'(不客气
地说，有点死板） what she has learned and there is no free soul in her
movements.

每年回国的时间都很短，但总算有点时间陪陪父母了。母亲总会让我多陪父亲去散散步

I was not so interested in this year's blackpool because some VIP dancers

Gosh. I saw another male latin dancer during blackpool pro latin. He looked
exactly like Slavik and I almost believed Slavik came back for blackpool.
But he is about 2-3 inch taller than Slavik.

Who's that?? Could you please find out? Sourkov is high on my list, can't
thought of another...Michal Malitowski, Riccardo Cocchi, etc. are not as
good as him.
but i don't see many dancers and there are a lot talented people out there.

I actually like his dancing much more than Slavik's too.
One reason, just like what Musique said, is that Slavik's dancing is too
feminine.
Also, some of Slavik's movements look a little twisted, and he bends his
legs too much.
In addition, Sergey and his partner look good together. They have chemistry. I like that.
So there you go.

i have a set of latin teach dvd by Donnie Burns and the student couple were
Sergey and Melia in the video. they were so young then~ and I never made
the connection that they were the pro couple nowadays until recently. no
wonder they looked quite familiar from somewhere...

En interesting. I never thought it that way (slavik's dancing is feminine).
I think he has some ballet quality, which differentiates him from others...
