跟dean在电话里谈好，一年以后come up to tenure evaluation, 在第二年年底， 可
以拿到tenure. 但今天她说offer letter里，给我3年的tenure credits, 并解释：
One normally completes their T&P file during the Spring semester of their
5th year. The external reviews are conducted over the summer and the
internal (department, college) reviews are generally completed by the end of
the following Fall semester). Files then go for the administrative review
(Provost, President, Board of Trustees) and the candidate is generally
notified of the final recommendation by the end of Summer semester.
If you are given 3 years toward tenure you would complete your file for
review during the Spring semester of your 2nd year at XXX.
这样的话， 我不是要等到第三年才能拿到tenure? 这跟电话里说的可不一样啊。 该怎
么办。
