I promise to answer my boss by tomorrow morning.
Background: EE, VLSI Master, Working at a microwave company now.
I have been working as an intern in this start up company(5 person in total)
for 6 months, and finally get a cheap offer... 45k+nothing...He already
increased my salary from 34k to 45k after talked to me again this morning.
I want to stay here mainly because my boyfriend is studying here...and I don
't have any other offer at hand so far. But this salary is far away from my
expectation...Also Microwave is really hard!!! I can do almost nothing
really specially now except drafting.....
I am wondering, is there many openings available now for new graduates?
especially at South California? Should I quit and looking for a better offer
or accept it to be safe? I have tried to find jobs and keeping sending
resumes...but not much response so far, and even I got an opportunity, I don
't have time to prepare... it is already very stressful to finish my own
duty.
really really sad...please advise.

一个日本牌子的包，我记不清牌子名字了，找了很久都没有找到，希望牛人能帮帮我。
牌子的商标图案是一个非常简单的小孩子形象，那个小孩有三毛一样的头发，非常可爱
。包的价格在我出国以前（2004年）是不贵的，一个message bag肯定在1000以下。

I heard currently every CS graduate has 3 offers on average.

你需要申请H1B吧，最终，他给你的这个不够H1B吧。
你boyfriend多久毕业啊？
如果很快就毕业的话，你可以先去其它地方找工作。等他毕业再来找你。
45k真是太少了。打发要饭的啊？

事情就是这么矛盾，首先一个做半导体的叔叔告诉我现在opening少，不好找工作。当
我决定留了，我一问我同学，人人都是好offer在手。。。烧我的心痒痒。。。抓狂

多数人都这么建议，不过真心说，之前也一直这么想的，因为知道offer不会高，但是
根本没有时间准备面试，也可以说是自己有工作并没有那么上心，毕竟饿不死。。。

Sounds like this is the only choice for you now and you don't have other
active interviews. So the only option is to accept it and then keep looking.
Also sounds like you don't like your job at all and are not confident in
doing a good job. Consider switching to another field whenever the right
opportunity comes.

找大公司。RF/microwave startup pay的就是很低。MaxLinear上市前据说给fresh PhD
6w. 当然它后来上市了还算结果比较好的，但是这么多年的低工资，那点股票都不知道
够不够补偿那个的。大公司给的慷慨多了，先攒攒经验，再跳小公司，境况会好很多。
本来这些小公司能做成的可能性也不大。行业成熟，小公司产业链不完善，cost高，一
个产品不成功就是致命的。

45k is not that bad for an entry level engineer. EE is no superior to many
other engineering majors in terms of starting salary. Plus, if you have no
better offers, what can you do?

I understand this may be my value here for now...but that is why I am
thinking should I take it or quit and look for another job...
