I always wore sneakers in school.
But now I need to dress to go to work.
I have to walk about 30 min's a day in commuting.
I am not tall but I would rather not to wear even middle heels.
I want a shoe more elegant than sneakers but also comfortable to walk with.
What type of shoe should I look at
and what brands would you suggest?

I think you can commute in sneakers, and change into dress shoes at work,
which means you should keep a pair of elegant dress shoes in your office.

I saw some MM recommending easy spirit, which is said to be very comfortable
. I have no experience with that brand, personally, I like
high heels made by Calvin Klein, BCBG, Charles davids, Ann Klein, Nine west
is ok too. I have tried cole haan and stewart Weizelman which are really
well made and comfortable, even for 4 inch heels, but I have never bought
them because they are not within my acceptable prices lol
