BUT, US has off-season 40 - 50% off twice a year.
(sometimes double and double off, on some Burberry Porsum line)
and it is for ALL styles,
and YES, you could find a lot of good styles left in the sales event.
I usually buy one or two suits per year at off-season sales in the NYC
boutique, and it is totally worth it.
(imagine a >$2500 hand-made silk intervened signature suit for only less
than $1000)

forgot to add.
usually it is Dec-Jan and Jul-Aug. First, it is 30%(men)/40%(women) sales, after 2-3 weeks, it becomes 40/50 sales
Once you establish good relationship with the sales, they will put you on
the call-list and invite-you for sale-event, trunk show and other special
events.
Usually they also give you $250 incentvie gift purchase every year, if you
purchase enough. You can use them on those never-on-sale item like some
particular styles of scarves.

I've been to the sales event, but it was not for ALL styles. 40% on selected
styles only.

oh, if that is the case, then probably it is only for ALL styles of previous
-season's Porsum line (at least all the suits)
But for LONDON line, it still has a quite a good selection of styles of
previous-season on sale
