一直觉得google是美国政府的喉舌，还立自由民主的牌坊，挺厌恶它。但是gmail，
googlesearch用习惯了。听说
google.cn（会自动转香港网址）用chinese搜寻头条提示是chinese-eating-babies.试
了以下，今天抽空试一下，果不
其然，what -a [email protected]!!
彻底戒google/gmail了，要不然自己太贱了。
申请了hotmail，决定只用 bing.com for my search
跟fashion无关，喜欢这里潜水，觉得这里的姐妹大多有正义感，请版主手下留情。

i just tried and saw that. i dunn underestand why it shows up as the first
option in the drop down? Anyone has an idea?
Whether you will use google or not is a different matter but i hope we could
do something to change it. If it is manipulated, it is totally wrong!!

搜索结果应该没有人工介入的吧
只是说明搜这个的人多而已，怪不到google身上
我觉得google退出中国并不单纯是哪一方面有错
只是不work out而已
我并不认为google反华，所以我该用什么还是用什么

我不认为这是manipulated，google没有道理这么做。
当年baidu被爆因为商业利益操纵搜索结果
google就声明了自己绝不会这么做，因为这个也违背了它的原则
就好像它现在因为审查而退出中国一样。
（当然我不认为这是唯一的原因，肯定有商业上的考虑）

i still can't believe people searched 'chinese people eat babies' the most.
Westerners have many steorotypes of Chinese but i am not aware this one is
the most popular.
They do talk a lot about chinese eating dogs for sure.

可能是人们搜索chinese后点击这个最多
这很好理解，因为这个很耸人听闻
你要是搜索了一个东西出来一排结果
你也可能会好奇而去点那个很耸人听闻的

I don't know how large of part google plays in this.
As said by someone above, this is not new. Everyone knows it - google must
know.
Even if this is done by someone else, I believe google has the technology to
make it right.
Don't tell me google don't do this for the sake of freedom.
How about cooperate with US gov to disclose its gamil user info?

可能有滚雪球效应
开始有人搜了很多次后出现在提示框里，然后大家看见都点了，然后搜索次数就越来越多
觉得google没必要那么傻，AF，TBS之类要说支持藏独之类的，反正他们不在中国开店
，可是google话了钱花了人力物力搞国内市场，然后再点火自焚？？说不通

lz 我支持你，这个chinease eating babies 绝对是人工介入，我现在也只用bing
和hotmail 的。 google 是自立牌坊，我觉得google 走了是好事，希望百度越做越
