做个调查，类似alarm.com 的安防系统，不过没有月费，只是设备only.
有摄像头，门、窗，烟雾传感器，当传感器触发以后，摄像头会拍视频，jpg可以上传
到服务器。
另外可以通过android/iphone观看实时视频。。。这种系统会有市场吗？

我在想定珍珠项链，在国内的网站定，只是不太放心，毕竟没亲眼看到。

last weekend, I hooked up a webcam with my raspberry pi, I was surprised how
simple it was to get remote camera working: I just installed and ran a free
software called "motion", and I can browse the motion-triggered camera data
from any web browser! My raspberry pi only costed me $40 and my webcam was
$10!
A pi is more than a remote monitoring station, it is now my media center (
running OpenELEC) and file server (with a 32G class 10 SD card). Probably
soon it can become my Socket5 server to encrypt all my network traffics :)
It definitely worth more than what I paid for.

刚刚好哥哥要回北京参加婚礼，我就买了一个可以录音的母亲节卡片，和女儿一起录制
了一段祝福母亲（姥姥）的话带回去了。
因为刚从国内回来，所以就不再买礼物了。

you missed my second paragraph
also, an ipcamera needs a computer to run, a pi is a computer itself! so
really we are not comparing the same thing.
panning can be solved by multiple cameras. it should be straightforward on a
pi, you only need a (powered) USB hub, and additional USB cameras.

at this point, you can run a number of linux distributions on it (Raspbian,
fedora, arch, openelec, etc) without a problem
http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads
I used debian wheezy (raspbian). It supports whatever hardware linux kernel
(3.1.x) supports. The verified device list can be found here:
http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals
I just managed to get one of my wifi dongles (WG111) working last weekend,
all you need to do is to go to debian wiki and search for the USB identifier
, then download the firmware for your device. For the webcam, I did not
install any driver, I was surprised it worked without a struggle!

只所以叫IP camera就是它自己有IP，不用任何computer，有network就可以了。

难道真的没有人用zoneminder吗？
这些传感器都需要符合那个什么标准的才行吧，还是你走怎么连信号到计算机？

我用youzigift.com，用了有快两年了。虽然选择不多，但是还算方便，而且蛋糕能送
到一些二三线城市。

卓越网不错，可以收美国的信用卡，当然不是所有东西都能买，只能买网站自己商城的
。我给家里买的豆浆机，锅啥的，还有枕头阿，之类的。
不过最近发现没啥可以买了，就买了东西邮寄回去。

不需要任何计算机，都是很简单的操作，传感器RF到摄像头，触发摄像头开始拍摄。。

我在5288订了两束花，很快就发来配送通知了。有次有个问题打电话过去，态度什么的
也不错

你要用的是门窗烟雾传感器触发视频和报警
另外的软件是用图像比较，发现有变化就出发视频和报警
我觉得比门窗什么的好，因为门窗经常有人关掉了忘了打开传感器，而且还要另外的位
置安装
几个摄像头覆盖房子周边，如果有人经过敏感区域就摄像并通知我觉得是比较好的方法
我不知道红外什么的夜视功能有多好用
当然如果有人上来就切断网络或电力，那么就看我机器花多少时间发送图片了，如果很
快，应该能拍到谁来切断网络的，上传到某地，并通知我
