我的一个朋友结婚的时时候，她父母向男方要了10万块聘礼。不想结婚不到两年由于
种种原因，我朋友提出了离婚。男方说离婚可以但是要退还聘礼。好像传统来说聘
礼是给女方父母的，现在我朋友想离婚，也不好意思向父母要10万，她现在很纠结，是
不是要自己垫10万块，还是找个理由不还？传统来说离婚的话男方有权利要回聘礼么
？

最近买了房子已经close了,但是目前租的公寓租约要到三个月后才到期,我问了管理办
公室的人可否提前解约,他们拒绝了,我已经搬出去了,难道一定要白白再付三个月的房
租吗? 我如果搬出去后就不再付房租会不会被告?
当初住进去的时后他们并没有要求deposit所以没有被扣deposit的问题.

U need either give a 30~60 day notice, or find a new tenant, or pay the rent
till end end of the lease or untill landlord rent the apt out again,
whichever come earlier

That is possible. I heard in some states, landlord can never let you go off
the lease until it ends.

depending on your rental agreement, the landloard may have a right to refuse
to let you go before the lease ends.
In CA, most will require you to sign a one-year contract, after one-year, it
becoms month by month. Before one year, you cannot terminate your contract.
After one year, you can terminate your contract if you give the landloard
a notice more than 30 days in advance and at the begining of a month.
In a word, check your contract.
Also, you can sublease your place, if your contract permits.
If you don't have a contract, just leave. The landlord has no base to sue
you.

下offer之前就应该跟房东说好怎么解约的事情的.即使是已经month by month也要把细
节搞清楚.

我也刚刚经历过和你相同的事情。下边是我们问了3，4个律师，外加自己上网察到的资
料后的info.希望对你有所帮助：
1：
A lease is a contract between a landlord and a tenant which contains the
terms and conditions of the rental. It cannot be changed while it is in
effect unless both parties agree.
唯一的不被告&不用pay 所有3个月的房租的办法是：找到potential new tenants, and
send his/her information to your 管理办公室 by certified mail.如果他们
refuse with no reasons OR no written consent in 10 days. 那你will only need
to pay 1 more month rent and you will be released from the lease.

合同没到期，没有SOLUTION前，就搬走了，却不付钱。你可以不付，但是这钱，你是
欠着的，你的信用会有影响，而且人家可以法庭上告你。。不管怎么样，受损失的是你。
